Fly direct to Prague. On arrival join the private transfer to your hotel where you will spend 2 nights.

Day 2
Prague: Explore the vast and impressive Castle District, which includes St Vitus Cathedral, one of the cities most recognised landmarks. Its many treasures include the distinctive Art-Nouveau stained-glass windows, the beautiful 14th-century mosaic of the Last Judgement of Christ situated above the Golden Gate, the Chapel of St Wenceslas and the Bohemian crown jewels. You may prefer to concentrate your sight-seeing around the Old Town Square where you will find the Tyn Church and the Town Hall Tower with its intricate Astronomical Clock. Wherever you choose to spend the day, if you like a touch of romance, don't forget to head to the Charles Bridge at sunset for spectacular views of the city.

Day 3
Make your own way to the railway station for the journey by rail to Vienna where you will spend 2 nights. The train departs mid morning and the journey take approximately 4hrs 40mins,

Day 4
Vienna: With its soaring Gothic tower, St Stephan's Cathedral represents the heart of Vienna and should be considered a sightseeing essential. The magnificent Schönnbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburgs is also without question a Viennese pre-requesite.

Day 5
Make your own way to the railway station for the journey by rail to Budapest where you will spend 3 nights. Journey time is approximately 2hrs 40mins.

Day 6
Budapest: Split down the middle by the Danube River the once separate cities of  "Buda" and "Pest" are joined together by the magnificent Chain Bridge. Take the funicular up from the Chain Bridge and wander the intimate cobbled streets of the Castle Hill, home to some of the finest examples of Budapest's Baroque architecture. Explore Buda Castle also known as the Royal Palace. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will also find the city's National Gallery and History Museum located here.

Day 7
Budapest: Heroe's Square is an excellent starting point for a tour of the Pest side of the city. The Square pays hommage to Hungary's great leaders and is also the main entrance to the City Park. A little green gem in Budapest, the "English-style" garden was created from a drained swamp in the 18-19th centuries to provide a National Garden where people could relax. Start from the Vajdahunyad Castle at the Heroe's Square end and walk through the park to the Zoo for a pleasant escape from the buzz of the city.

Day 8
Join the private transfer from your hotel to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
