Departing from Birmingham

Day 1
Fly direct to Malaga. On arrival join the private transfer to the railway station for the onward journey by rail to Seville where you will spend 3 nights.

Day 2
Seville: The Alcazar must surely be the crown jewel in Seville's list of top attractions and definitely worth a visit. The Royal Alcazar is, in fact, a series of magnificent Moorish palaces, with its origins going back as far as 913. The third largest church in the world, Seville's cathedral, dating back to the 15th century has no shortage of appealing factors including the bell tower, La Giralda which soares almost 100 metres into the Seville skyline.

Day 3
Seville: Continue your explorations of Seville. Dominated by the cathedral and the majestic Giralda bell tower, Seville's Plaza de Virgen de Los Reyes is a lively square packed with a wealth of landmarks.

Day 4
Make your own way to the railway station for the journey by rail to Granada where you will spend 2 nights. (Journey time is approximately 3 hours)

Day 5
Granada: Translated from Arabic as 'the red', so named after the rich colour of its façade, Granada's mighty Alhambra represents the very best of Spanish Moorish architecture and is an absolute must-see. Built in the 13th and 14th centuries, this incredible, sprawling fortress boasts a wealth of treasures including the fabulous Generalife Gardens, the Alcazaba (citadel), the Patio de Los Leones and the Palacios Nazaries, the central palace complex. It is strongly advisable to book tickets in advance by visiting the Alhambra website

Day 6
Make your own way to the bus station for the journey by coach to Malaga. Journey time is a little under 2 hours. On arrival make your own way to your hotel where you will spend 2 nights.

Day 7
Malaga: To the masses, Malaga is often seen as a gateway to the tourist hot spots on the Costa del Sol, but to those more "au fait" with Spain's cultural heritage, Malaga is a charming historic city well worth investing the time to explore. The handsomely restored historic centre, the Gothic cathedral and the 11th century Gibralfaro Castle will more than fill your time in the city.

Day 8
Join the transfer to Malaga airport for the return flight to the UK.
