On the Northern Lights Exploration tour you will focus on finding the perfect location to witness the magic of the Northern Lights and the dark arctic sky. You will travel in small groups, no more than 16 passengers. To go into the dark, frozen winter night and observe an unbelievable display of color, light and texture, is like waking up in a fairy-tale, full of mystery and magic. You will be picked up at your hotel and driven out to the countryside or up to the mountains, away from electric glow and city sounds. You will be able to enjoy the beautiful night sky at the best possible situation, of course depending on weather.
The Northern Lights, or the Aurora Borealis, are a natural phenomenon visible in the Northern Hemisphere. A unique display of light caused by a particle collision in the magnetic field of the polar cap.
The Golden Circle Tour highlights Iceland’s main attractions. Visit historical locations such as Þingvellir National Park and Skálholt Church in addition to beautiful sites such as Gullfoss Waterfall and Geysir Hot Spring. Local guides will share their knowledge and insights on the history and geology of the area, enhancing your experience and understanding of the area. Small group tour.
The Blue Lagoon & Volcanic Wonders tour starts with an extensive geological exploration of the Reykjanes Peninsula, a UNESCO Global Geopark with diverse volcanic and geothermal activity. Among highlights are boiling mud pools of Gunnuhver and Seltún, colorful lava fields and volcanic craters. The guide will explain the geological forces behind a landscape of this caliber. To top an eventful day you end the tour with a long and relaxing visit to The Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa, a must stop for all guests of Iceland. Spend about one and half to two hours in the Blue Lagoon before heading back to Reykjavík. (Entrance ticket to the Blue Lagoon included.) Small group tour.
Join the shuttle transfer from your hotel to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
