Hotel is in a safe area of Lisbon near major department store & metro. Very pleasant 40 minutes walk to Old Town via park (other side of department store) which has an excellent cafe by pool.
Really nice hotel with very helpful staff. Nice bar and snacks but not much public area. Away from the main sites but close to all transport.
The members of staff in reception were extremely helpful. One in particular helped us to plan our days and was interested on hearing how we fared on our return that evening. The head waiter knew us individually and was prepared to arrange an early breakfast for us to get to the airport on time.
Smart and efficient. Couldn't fault this hotel at all.
The centrally located hotel was an ideal place from which to explore Lisbon, close to the metro and with east access to city centre attractions. The provision of tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been a bonus, however the hotel was happy to serve tea in the bar. The staff were very helpful. Very comfortable.
This is a small family run hotel is ideally situated in a pleasant boulevard with a metro station nearby.
Very clean with newly re-furbished bathrooms and dining-room.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Good situation near bus & metro stops, light and airy rooms, good breakfast choice, helpful & friendly staff. All you need for a city break.
The staff were outstanding - generous with their time and expertise. Breakfast was limited. The hotel was a metro ride from the centre of Lisbon.
PRO: Very clean. Excellent location. Superb air conditioning.
CON: Room quite small. Bar area uninviting.
Room quite small but very clean, comfortable & quiet. Very helpful staff and excellent breakfast.
This is a superb hotel. The helpfulness of the reception staff is second to none.
Modern well-run, friendly hotel. Rooms comfortable, well thought out, excellent bathrooms immaculately kept. Good breakfast. Situation very convenient, metro across the road (albeit you have to learn which exit to choose). Quiet apart from rubbish collection briefly & noisily during the night.
The hotel is situated in an upmarket part of Lisbon and is opposite a metro station, which is handy for getting about the city. The hotel is one of the best ever we have stayed in for its price range, with helpful and knowledgeable staff, who speak excellent english and are most helpfull and attentive to your needs.
The breakfast is plentyfull and most enjoyable and there are a large number of restaurants in the close vicinity of the hotel.
The hotel was very clean in all areas, the staff were very helpful, the location was perfect, a metro at the door, yet you could still walk from the centre if you wanted to.
I would certainly recommend it.
A good hotel, very well run and extremely clean with comfortable, well spaced rooms and useful balconies. Breakfast was a decent buffet with a choice of cereals, breads, fruits, cakes, ham, cheese and yogurt. turnover was brisk but excellent staff kept things clean and efficient, so no sense of overcrowding even when the hotel was full. Desk staff were always pleasant and interested and one felt comfortable and at home.
The hotel is conveniently situated near the S.Sebastiao tube station which made getting into Lisbon central very easy. It was also very close to the El Cortes Ingles shopping and entertainment complex so made stocking up on essentials easy. The problem was the building works outside the building which meant we were woken up early - the other issue was the lack of a workable safe in our room and the water quality ..the room was rather basic and the hotel could have promoted more tourist sites
