The hotel was spotless! Accommodation, staff & food were excellent. The only drawback was the location. It is in a poor location with graffiti on all walls near the hotel and very bad pave, nets. My lady had a very bad fall due to the bad pavements. The city needs a full tidy up!!
October 2012
Reception and Bar staff very helpful.
May 2012
An excellent refurbished hotel with friendly, helpful staff and a superb breakfast.
January 2012
The hotel is in a pleasant quiet street within walking distance of the train station, the bus station and many restaurants. The layout of the hotel with its quiet lift and stairs was easy to negotiate. The bedroom had all facilities, the bathroom equally so and the linen was immaculate. The dining room was not vast but pleasant and the breakfast was a very generous self-service selection with waiter service for hot drinks. The hotel bar remained open until midnight. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful.
