Our opinion… A modern hotel in a historical building, right in the center of the vibrant and lively city of Riga. Valdemars is a completely renovated family owned hotel within the beautiful shell of an Art Nouveau building from 1901.

Location… this hotel is close to Latvian Art Museum, Freedom Monument, and Powder Tower. Area attractions also include St. Jacob's Cathedral and Great Guild Hall.

Accommodation… Clarion Collection Hotel Valdemars features spacious rooms in pastel colours furnished with wooden furniture. Each room includes a safe, work desk and parquet floor and offer flat-screen cable TV and free Wi-Fi. All bathrooms have a hairdryer.

Facilities… Guests have free access to the recreation room, which features a jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna and a small gym area.

The hotel also has a restaurant and lounge/bar where guests can unwind with a drink.

Ideally located only a few minutes walk from the old town and main railway station, this historical mansion dating back to 1901 has been totally renovated and opened in 2008 being one of the newest addition of hotels in the centre of Riga. All rooms are comfortable and spacious with views of either the street or inner courtyard. All rooms have internet access available at a charge to the hotel. A good 4 star hotel in keeping with the Ramada chain known for it's outstanding hospitality for many years. Suitable for all guests, leisure and business. An excellent base to explore Riga

The 3* Hotel Konventa Seta is a pretty, historical property ideally located in the centre of old Riga Rooms vary in size. (due to the nature of the buildings). Many have wooden beams in the centre and across the ceilings and therefore retain their character. Relatively simple in design, rooms are painted white which contrasts nicely with the wooden floors and furniture. Bathrooms, although small, are adequate and again white and like the rooms are in very good condition. The traditional restaurant boasts some of the finest cuisine in town. This is a unique hotel in that it has retained its historical image and also forms an excellent 3* product in the centre of Riga.

Ideally located in the city centre of Riga, the old town is a ten minute walk from the hotel. There is a welcoming but simple reception with a restaurant and bar. Bedrooms are accessed via lift and located on 5 floors of the building. Rooms are of a good size and all are en-suite with bright, clean bathrooms (with showers only). Bedrooms are very clean and comfortable there is an on-going refurbishment so some rooms have older furniture but all have same amenities. 

Situated in the very heart of Riga and overlooking the city this high storey hotel offers an ideal base for exploring Riga\'s famous attractions and sights. The hotel is a large, modern tower with great views of Riga from both the fitness centre and trendy Skyline bar located on the 26th floor. All bedrooms are freshly decorated in vibrant colours, of a good size and fully equipped with all the facilities expected of this category of hotel. Other facilities include Casino, Japanese Restaurant, beauty salon, travel agency, newsagents, and souvenir shops. Within 20 minutes walk: Riga old town with various galleries and major attractions like Monument of Liberty, National Opera House, bars, restaurants and shopping centre.
