For a city break this hotel was excellent. Comfortable rooms, lovely staff, good breakfast and even complimentary lunches if booked in advance! Easy access to the main parts of Krakow as within the old city.

The hotel was brilliant, hotel suite gorgeous. Breakfast very good. Only draw back - no meals available at night.

Brilliant hotel & rooms. 'Olde Worlde' but comfortable & ideal location. May be improve the 'British breakfast' but plenty of food, no need to go hungry.

Excellent breakfast. Attentive & helpful staff attractive decor & very clean.

The hotel seems a little dated however this gave it an Eastern European charm. The staff could snot have been more attentive, the service was faultless. The location was ideal close enough to everywhere without feeling it was ontop of you.

For old-world graciousness and ambience, this is a fabulous hotel. wonderful staff who are great ambassadors for the Hotel Francuski. I will return to this hotel - very highly recommended.
January 2016
Old fashioned hotel, probably would not suit all quests, but we loved it. Quiet, clean comfortable, excellent service great, very cheap and good lunch - served until 17.00. We were given a suite (sitting area, bedroom, huge bathroom) really old fashioned and fantastic. Could not fault hotel (if you want modern, don\'t go).
January 2016
Superb location, within walking distance of the main square, with lots of activities, shops and restaurants.
December 2015
The hotel was very very nice. It had an old french style elegance - a lot of marble and brass work. The staff were most courteous and helpful. The wide selection of cuisines at breakfast was both remarkable and taste. The location in the old quarter was fantastic for exploring the city, on foot, if desired.
September 2015
Wonderful art nouveau decor. Decorating in our room (top floor) was a little tired. Because of exceptionally hot weather for time of year (32 deg. in mid September), the room got rather \"muggy\" and as there was no AC we had to use the fan provided. Apart from this the overall package at the hotel was very good.
May 2015
Excellent location within easy walking to the old centre of town and large indoor shopping mall. The hotel is 100 years old with original features and very clean. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
May 2015
Hotel clean and friendly. Veery well located.
May 2015
Old style hotel with faded grandeur, spacious room, central location within walking distance of most attractions.
May 2015
The building was lovely. The staff friendly. The location brilliant. The breakfast provided was excellent.
September 2013
Hotel staff very pleasant. Old hotel but clean, no air conditioning so needed window open. Asked for a fan but did not arrive. Breakfast fine but only hot food available was polish sausage.
June 2013
Hotel is very central, within easy walking distance of the main square. Staff are very helpful. Décor rather tired.
September 2012
The hotel Francuski is superbly placed and is near to the main square, restaurants, cafes and is also close to Wawel - 15 min walk. The food is excellent and it is a good old fashioned hotel, family owned, which many of us prefer. It can be noisy, however, due to nightclub activities in the early hours.
