Amsterdam: A natural starting point on any Amsterdam itinerary, Dam Square is a popular meeting place and home to a number of well-known city landmarks in amongst the shops, cafés and restaurants. Dominating the square is the Koninklijk (Royal) Palace, no longer a royal residence but still used for official functions, opposite which is the National Monument commemorating those lost in World War II.
Make your own way to the railway station for the journey by rail to Paris. The journey takes a little over 3 hours. On arrival make your own way to your hotel where you will spend 3 nights.
Paris: It would be hard to miss such famous sights as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Nôtre Dame and the Sacré Coeur. Stroll along the Champs Elysées and wander through the Jardin des Tuileries, a peaceful haven right in the centre of the city. Paris: A visit to the Chateau of Versailles is an unforgettable experience. Lying just 12 miles south-west of the capital and set amid magnificently landscaped formal gardens, this splendid palace was built in the mid-17th century during the reign of Louis XIV – the Sun King. The Chateau of Versailles can be reached by catching an RER train from central Paris.

Our opinion… A great city centre location.
Location… The Nova Hotel is situated in an authentic canal house in the centre of Amsterdam, between the Dam and the Spui. Its magnificent location in the heart of the old city centre allows you to experience the real Amsterdam: its old canals, stately 17th century buildings, narrow streets and multitude of trendy restaurants, dazzling clubs and cosy, old-fashioned pubs.
Accommodation… All rooms are non-smoking and come with TV, desk, free Wifi, in-room safe, mini fridge and hairdryer.
Facilities… The hotel serves a continental breakfast.
Transport… 10 minute walk from the railway station.
The Soft Hotel
Our opinion...The Soft Hotel lies near the Place de la République and the Saint Martin canal, just minutes away from countless shopping and entertainment venues.
Location...The city's beautiful tourist attractions are easily explored with use of the local public transport, and the nearest stop is around 100 m away.
Accommodation...The hotel offers just 31 charming rooms in a modern design with tasteful decoration. All rooms are well equipped with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, free internet access (WIFI), a double bed (or twin beds) and satellite/cable TV.
Facilities…The bright breakfast room serves a buffet breakfast including delicious pastries directly from the bakers oven.
Transport...Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports are between 25 and 30 km away from the hotel. Metro stop aprox 100m from hotel.
