Pork dishes are the mainstay of Latvian cuisine and cabbage in various guises also plays a major part in many meals. The famous drink of Riga is Black Balsam and the best place in town to sample this is in one of the many atmospheric bars in the old town.

Our opinion… A traditionally styled hotel with a relaxed atmosphere in an outstanding location.
Location… This hotel is centrally located just one block from the main square, the shopping area and the main places of cultural interest.
Accommodation… Rooms are modern, comfortable and attractive. Most rooms have shower only. All rooms have television, mini bar, television & hairdryer.
Facilities… There is a restaurant located in the basement of the hotel. The very traditional baiari kelder is in the style of a German bierstube - grey brick walls, roaring fire places and 19th century furniture creating an inviting relaxed atmosphere.
Transport… The nearest bus stop is a two minute walk from the hotel.
Our opinion… The 3-star Hotel Konventa Seta is a pretty, historical property ideally located in the centre of old Riga.
Location… Kaleju Str 9/11 Riga, 1050. positioned in a historic townhouse, located in Riga’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Riga Cathedral is only 450 metres away.
Accommodation… 141 rooms vary in size. With wooden beams and simple design, the white decor contrasts nicely with the wooden floors and furniture. Bathrooms, although small, are well appointed.
Facilities… The traditional restaurant boasts some of the finest Latvian and international cuisine in town.
