Amsterdam: Amsterdam is home to a number of world famous museums, which make it perfect if you are looking for a cultural short break. Start with a visit to the Vincent Van Gogh museum and browse more than 200 paintings and 500 drawings by Van Gogh and his contemporaries. Relive the moving story of Anne Frank and her family with a visit to Anne Frank's House. The Rijksmuseum is Amsterdam's largest and most popular museum and another “must see” during your time in Amsterdam. The central attraction is the collection of 17th-century Dutch Masters, featuring canvases from some of the finest artists in history, including Rembrandt and Vermeer. And if you feel like you have had enough of museums and ar then there is, of course, Amsterdam's infamous Red Light District. Definitely an eye-opener and not for the faint hearted, this part of Amsterdam can certainly add a touch of spice to your city break.
Check out of your hotel and, if time permits, spend a few final hours enjoying the sights and sounds of Amsterdam before making your own way to the airport for the return flight to the UK. Of course, it two nights doesn't seem like long enough to do justice to this exciting city, extra hotel nights can be added at a supplement.
