Bergen: Today you embark on the fabulous 'Norway in a Nutshell' tour. This legendary tour takes you through Norway's most breathtaking UNESCO-protected fjord and mountain scenery, on Europe's top scenic rail journey.
Starting from Bergen you first set out on a scenic train journey to Voss on the Bergen Railway. From Voss you travel by bus through charming villages and scenic natural landscapes, towards Gudvangen.
The bus will arrive in Gudvangen, where you continue the tour by taking a fjord cruise on the on the narrow Nærøyfjord and the magnificent Aurlandsfjord.
After your fjord cruise, you arrive in the small village of Flåm, nestled in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, where your tour continues by taking the legendary Flåm Railway.
The Flåm Railway will arrive in Myrdal, where you change trains to the Bergen Railway. You travel back to Bergen

Copenhagen: You could try a canal tour - a popular way to see the city and, of course, the Little Mermaid from the water. She is the most photographed statue in the world, and draws tourists to the old port district of Nyhavn. Stroll around this fascinating part of town with its colourful gabled houses and fabulous architecture. One of the quayside cafés or bars makes a great pit stop.
Copenhagen: The heart of the city is centred around the pedestrian street ‘Strøget’ which runs from the Radhuspladsen (City Hall square) and is packed with shops and street artists. The locals are bike crazy and with a huge network of award winning paths and lanes across town, hiring a bike is a great way to get around. Roseburg castle is home to Denmark’s Crown Jewels and contains an abundance of royal and historical collections.
Transfer by rail to Copenhagen airport for the return flight to the UK.

Our opinion… An excellent choice for a city break. The hotel is well located for exploring the city on foot and is easily accessible from the airport.

Our opinion… The Bondeheimen has been welcoming guests with norwegian tradition and hospitality since its opening in 1913.
Location… This hotel enjoys a central location within walking distance of all of Oslo's major tourist attractions.
