Our opinion… A good choice for exploring the island of Gozo.
Location… The property is within walking distance from Victoria, Gozo's capital, and the historic town of Citadel. Gozo's central bus terminus, shopping streets, Villa Rundle gardens, bars, restaurants, cinema and Astra theatre are a stone throw away.
Accommodation… All rooms are en-suite and come with TV, mini bar, telephone, hair-dryer and air-conditioning.
Facilities… The main restaurant is open for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner offering local and continental dishes. Alternatively the cafe is open daily from 7.30 am till late offering fresh baguettes, sandwiches, pizzas, salads and home made pastries or desserts. An Extensive local and foreign wine list is also available.
Transport… Close to the central bus terminus.
Our opinion… A great value, well located hotel.
Location... 50 South Street, VLT1101 Valletta. Set within Valletta's ancient fortifications, cafes, shops, restaurants, St John's cathedral, the grand harbour and museums are a very short walk away from the property.
Accommodation…All 63 rooms at Hotel Osborne come with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.
Facilities… A cosy bar and buffet restaurant. The small rooftop dip pool offers great views.
Transport...The nearest bus stops and ferry port for Sliema are 5 minutes' walk away.
