The lead-in price from £589pp is available in the low season from November through to March. April to October prices start from £759pp. The price is based on two people sharing a twin/double room and may vary depending on choice of departure date and airport. All holidays are tailor-made with extra nights, single rooms, checked luggage and hotel upgrades available at a supplement.

Your itinerary


Day 1

Fly direct to Pisa. On arrival join the private transfer to your hotel in Lucca where you will spend 2 nights.


Day 2

Lucca: Encompassed by well-preserved Renaissance city walls, Lucca’s historic quarter with its cobbled streets and elegant piazzas is a delight to explore. Broad, tree-lined pathways along the tops of the massive 16th and 17th century ramparts have become a pedestrian promenade and one of Lucca’s main attractions.


Day 3

Make your own way to the railway station for the included rail journey from Lucca to Montecatini Terme. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. Choice of departure times. On arrival make your own way to your hotel where you will spend 2 nights.


Day 4

Montecatini Terme: The biggest spa town in Italy. Renowned for its springs, spas, thermal baths and peaceful atmosphere, the town has long been a popular choice for those looking to relax.


Day 5

Make your own way to the railway station for the included rail journey to Florence where you will spend 3 nights. Journey time is approximately 1 hour and there is a choice of departure times.


Day 6

Florence: First time visitors to Florence will feel that rush of excitement that comes with the discovery of something special. Those who have visited before, will feel like they are going back to visit an old friend, who has got the best china out for the occasion as they once more impress with architectural splendour, centuries-rich heritage and artistic vibrancy. 


Day 7

Florence: If you have had your fill of priceless art and architectural wonders, head for the Ponte Vecchio and search the wares of the jewellery sellers, antique dealers and souvenir shops for that special something to remind you of Tuscany's quintessential city.


Day 8

Join the transfer from your hotel to Pisa airport for the return flight to the UK.

Our opinion… In the very heart of the town, inside the walls in the historical centre of Lucca the San Martino is an ideal place to stay.

Location… Via Della Dogana 9. The hotel is within close proximity of Cathedral of St Martin and Lucca Cathedral Museum.

Accommodation… Rooms are decorated in a unique style. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning/heating, minibar, color TV with flat screen TV, direct dial telephone, free wi-fi and safe.

Facilities… There is a lounge and bar with a wide selection of drinks and snacks.

Transport… 500m from the train station.

Our opinion… Wonderful hotel for a truly Tuscan experience.

Location… The Hotel Puccini is situated in the heart of Montecatini, on the main street Corso Roma and just few steps away from the famous Kursaal and Spas.

Accommodation… Each of the 35 rooms is elegantly and comfortably furnished and equipped with all modern comforts including private bathroom, telephone, mini bar, hairdryer, satellite plasma TV, air conditioning/central heating, electronic safe and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Facilities… The hotel has a lift, bar and restaurant.

Transport… The hotel is situated a few blocks away from the railway station.

Our opinion…Bright, welcoming and modern in style, this is a great base from which to explore the city.

Location... Hotel Delle Nazioni is next to Florence Santa Maria Novella Station and a 10-minute walk from Florence Cathedral.

Accommodation…87 en suite rooms offer all the amenities you would expect.

Facilities…Breakfast room and American style bar/lounge.

Transport... A bus stop 200 metres from the hotel has services to the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. The Fortezza da Basso is a 15-minute walk away.
