Count Antal Grassalkovich I. was one of the most notable aristocrats of the 18th century. He began the construction of the Palace of Gödöllő around 1735. It is not just a museum but also the largest Baroque palace in Hungary with unique architecture. Gödöllő was the favourite palace of Elisabeth, where she found peace and refuge from the protocol in Vienna. The Palace was a perfect place for Sisi to read, walk, write or learn languages. Opera House, Heroes Square, the Danube River just a few of the most important parts of the city that can be reached within a few minutes from Medosz Hotel.
Accommodation… Superior Rooms are newly refurbished, airconditioned spacious and elegant. Each bathroom has been done to a high standard with a shower cubicle and a bath with all the accessories. There is a telephone, TV and Internet access, safe and hairdryer in every room.
