The south tower of the cathedral can be climbed and offers a unique, wide view across the rooftops of Munich and on to the Alps. In the entrance of this imposing late-Gothic interior you encounter among other things the legendary devil’s footprint in the floor of the church. And of course, no visit to Munich is complete without enjoying excellent Bavarian hospitality in one of the many beer halls dotted around the city.

The museum’s displays and special exhibitions include current furniture developments and designs. The Museum of Technology is a fascinating place to visit for anyone who has an interest in how things work. The unique exhibits, from the past to the future, make the museum a showplace for exciting technological developments.

Location… In the centre of Munich just across from the main railway station.
Accommodation… All rooms are en-suite and facilities include flat screen-TV, soundproof windows, telephone, hairdryer and lap top safe.
Facilities… The breakfast restaurant is located on the ground floor and has large windows, which make for a bright and airy atmosphere. The restaurant offers a traditional rich German breakfast.
Transport… 1 minute walk from the nearest bus stop and metro station.
Our opinion… A simple and charming family run hotel.
Location… Hotel Hohenstauffen is located in the city centre, just 5-minute walk from Salzburg Train Station. The Mirabell Gardens and all other city sights of interest of the Cultural World Heritage City Salzburg are only a short walk away.
Accommodation… Rooms are very traditional in style and are equipped with bath or shower / WC (hair dryer), phone, radio and Sat-TV.
Facilities… There is a breakfast room and a spacious lounge. Bicycle rental is also available.
Transport… Main railway station is a 5 minute walk away. From here you can also take the bus to get around the city.
