Your itinerary

Day 1

Fly direct to Warsaw. On arrival join the transfer to your hotel where you will spend 3 nights.

Day 2

Warsaw: Overlooking the Vistuala River, it's hard to believe that Warsaw's prestigious Royal Castle was only completed in 1984, having been meticulously resurrected from its World War II ruins.

Day 3

Warsaw: The natural heart of the Old Town, Old Town Square (Rynek Starego Miasta) was razed to the ground during World War II, yet has since emerged as a spectacular architectural blend of baroque, Renaissance and Gothic styles and a vibrant and atmospheric meeting point.

Day 4

Make your own way to the railway station for the journey by rail to Krakow where you will spend 3 nights. Journey time approximately 2hrs 45mins.

Day 5

Krakow: Krakow is known as Poland's "Capital of Culture" and has numerous excellent museums. The National Museum and the Czartoryskis Museum boast valuable collections of art, ancient handicrafts and memorabilia connected with historical figures. A visit to Wawel Castle and Cathedral perched on top of Wawel Hill cannot fail to inspire visitors.

Day 6

Krakow: Dominating the city's Main Market Square, Krakow's Cloth Hall (or Sukiennice) dates back to the mid-14th century and was once the focal point for the city's medieval clothing trade. A stunning neo-Gothic structure, today the Cloth Hall is a much photographed and visited attraction in Rynek Glowny and inside, you'll find the Gallery for 19th-century Polish painting upstairs, whilst the ground floor is dedicated to craft and souvenir stalls.

Day 7

Join the transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
